Vintage 1960 Mid-Century Modern Walnut Wood Danish Modern Men’s Valet Suit Stand

This Mid-Century Modern Walnut Wood Danish Modern Men’s Valet Suit Costumer Stand was purchased in 1960 by my parents as part of their Danish Modern decor in Chicago, IL.

It’s in very good condition with some wear to the finish consistent with its age. It’s made of walnut wood and marked “Made in Italy”.

On the ends of the top bar, there are two rods that pull out where ties may be hung. There are also little rubber nubs on the top bar to hold your suit in place.

This is a great vintage piece owned by one family with a clear provenance.

It measures 18″ wide by 42.5″ tall x 13″ deep.

It will be shipped in 3 pieces – the tray slides on to 2 posts. The feet will be off and you slide them over two posts and have 2 wooden nuts to screw on by hand (no tools necessary).
