Victorian Essex Crystal Intaglio reverse painted pug ring, 10K. These rings were a novelty during the Victorian Period. These painted crystal cabochons were then placed in a gold setting, usually a stick pin or ring. This ring has a painting of a pug with a dark face fawn color. It has a red collar with a pearl. The ring tested 10K gold, size 4 1/2, the front is large at 1 1/8″ long x 7/8″ wide x 1/2″ deep.
