A small oval Dutch silver gold plated box with a scene of the birth of Venus.
A silver box, gold plated with a style-carved cameo in stone. The stone with a scene of a mythological depiction of the birth of Venus. The box with hinged lid in the length. The box is fully Dutch silver hallmarked. with the Dutch hallmark “Standing lion I” (925/1000 purity of silver), Gold plated. Minerva head mark (office) with letter A for Amsterdam.
The year letter V (crowned) for the year 1980 in memory of the inauguration of Queen Beatrix. The Master sign of G.R.J. Haentjens Dekker (1932-2011), worked during 1976-2011.
The measurement is 1,7 cm high, 4 cm wide and the depth is 7 cm.
