“Jupiter” swivel lounge chair, by Pierre Guariche for Meurop in Belgium. The black skai seat has a deep, round shape which have a nice seating comfort.

Between 1965 and 1967 Pierre Guariche designed the ‘Starlook Ultralight’ series of seats, consisting of the ‘Polaris’, ‘Luna’, ‘Mars’ and ‘Jupiter’ models.

The ‘Jupiter’ is the largest model.

They are made of polyurethane foam covered with skai leather and a steel base covered with ABS plastic. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
