We’ve only encountered a couple of these throughout our careers, and that’s saying something because we’re in a ton of homes every week buying all up and down the east coast. Their scarcity leads us to believe not many were made, but we can’t understand why because we absolutely love the form. We flipped through some old catalogs and believe this is a JM Young chair. We’ve attached a side-by-side image showing this chair & chair #338 in JM Young’s original catalog.
