Birds of Britain was published simultaneously in England, the USA, France, Italy, Germany, and other countries. The book is a collection of photographs of 1960s “birds” (period British slang for attractive young women), mostly celebrity models, singers, and actresses, with captions by Anthony Haden-Guest.
