A fine antique Dresden porcelain vase.
Attributed to Helena Wolfsohn’s workshop.
Of baluster form with a cobalt ground, extensive gilding throughout, and a hand painted cartouche with a depiction of cupid and Venus.
The intricately hand-painted scene is most impactful at a little bit of a distance.
Marked to the base with a blue underglaze crowned D mark.
Simply a wonderful Dresden vase!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There is significant rubbing to the gold throughout and a few noticeable scratches in the painted decoration and glaze. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
