Vintage Design
Splendid lidded vase in the style of Louis XVI. Bordeau red marble with grey white flecking. Egg-fomed body connected with wide ornamental relief and interrupted circlet. Ornamented with engraved classicist basket work, on both sides disposed handles in the form of fully moulded espagnoletten, on a prominent, elevated round foot. Cambered, rising, lid crowning. The extremely valuable engraved bronze fixtures are prominent and of superb quality.
