Steeped in history, this elegant antique umbrella stand is crafted from solid English oak, and features a timeless design with bobbin or barley twist legs that will enhance the entryway of any home.
It proudly displays, atop it’s front, a hand carved scene that is likely a bowl of grapes signifying either a farmers healthy harvest and or fertility, which is flanked on either side by a traditional acorn leaf design.
The stand, likely from the late 19th to early 20th century, has a spacious interior perfect for storing a variety of umbrellas and walking sticks, and boasts it’s original removable zinc drip tray for easy cleaning.
