Pair Chinoiserie Black and Gold Lacquered End Tables Painted Mythical Animals

This is a fine quality pair of chinoiserie paint decorated end tables of graceful form with an abstract depiction of mythical animals such as magical turtles, foo dogs and cranes. The chinoiserie is the finest quality raised relief and in exceptional condition for their age. The tables are in very good condition for their age and have minor signs of age and wear. They date to the 1920s era.
