Just as each one of us bears his own name, Crita’s vases also get baptized “A naso” (Blindly), “Coi baffi” (well done), “Al bacio” (perfect). They are not just simple vases but objects with a personified aspect, will and irony. from a simple block of clay, the material takes shape and gets molded into a living element involved in a three-way dance where lathe, pottery and hands come together to raise these red clays. Vertical, linear, delicate. Crita’s signature style is enclosed in the simplicity and elegance of its creations. In this series, they have been enriched with opaque, gem-like, contemporary colors.
